Who should attend?

This course is recommended for any woman involved in fleet roles who wants to develop their ability to speak in public, independent of their career level. The program is suitable for both Fleet Operators and Fleet Support Providers.

Course delivery

Trainer led 2-day course at various locations, for groups of up to 12 participants.

Overview & Learning Outcomes

Upon completion, course attendees will be able to:

Gain the confidence, courage, and clarity to be able to speak publicly.
Communicate with increased confidence, finding their own style to express themselves
Identify the main aspects of storytelling

Cost

£650 course fee – members
£750 course fee – non members

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the course start date will result in a 100% cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued.
Cancellation less than 8 weeks but more than 4 weeks before the course start date will result in a 50% cancellation fee, and 50% of the course fee will be refunded.

If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible to ensure we can assist you accordingly.

Cancellation policy for 3 or more delegates booked on the same course:

A company can book a maximum of 4 spaces on one course. If more than 2 spaces are booked and cancellation is requested less than 16 weeks before the course start date, then a 50% refund will apply.
(The AFP is a not-for-profit organisation, and this policy ensures the course can still run for the remaining delegates)

In the UK, a fear of public speaking is beaten only by a phobia of spiders. Whilst we can’t help you with the spiders, this program will enable you to speak up with confidence & clarity so you can share your knowledge, ideas & experience.

While you may not have a full-on phobia of public speaking, many people find it incredibly hard to do. It can be debilitating and career-limiting, especially as presenting has become an intrinsic part of working life—be it to one person, in a team meeting, at a board meeting, hosting a conference, or participating in the virtual world.

CONFIDENCE – Understand what makes you confident, from your body language through to your communication style and utilising your capabilities.

COURAGE – Identify your limiting beliefs, change the view of your inner critic and limit the fears you may have.

CLARITY – Making sure the story you want to share or the message you want to convey is clear and easy to understand

CONTENT—Establish a repeatable structure that enables you to express your own style and target your content at the audience.
