I am applying to join the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) Board to contribute meaningfully to the continued development of our industry and to help shape the future of fleet management at a time of great change.

With 36 years of experience in fleet operations as a fleet and transport manager specialising in compliance, I bring a practical perspective to all situations across the private and public sectors.

My professional background includes leading initiatives that have improved fleet efficiency, reduced emissions, and implemented emerging technologies. I am passionate about professional development, having mentored numerous new entrants into the industry and championed internal training programs.

I believe this aligns well with the AFP’s mission to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

If selected, I will contribute actively by sharing insights, helping to develop policy and guidance documents, and supporting events and initiatives that benefit AFP members. I am particularly interested in helping fleets transition to net-zero and ensuring that the AFP remains a leading voice on sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.

As a Board member, I will bring energy, collaboration, and a commitment to representing the public sector within AFP.
