Denise Lane is a fleet industry leader with more than 20 years’ experience managing complex, large‑scale vehicle operations across the UK and ROI. She currently serves as Head of Fleet for LKQ UK & Ireland Group, overseeing national fleet strategy, supplier engagement, compliance, and operational performance. Her work consistently delivers measurable cost efficiencies, improved safety standards, and strong alignment with corporate objectives.

Denise has been an AFP (Association of Fleet Professionals) Board Director since its beginning, playing a key role in shaping industry standards, championing best practice, and supporting fleet professionals across the sector.

Before joining LKQ UK & Ireland Group, Denise held senior leadership roles at Yunex Trafficand GSK/Haleon, and spent over two decades at Capita in a series of strategic fleet roles, culminating as Head of Group Fleet. There, she managed one of the UK’s largest and most diverse fleets, with full accountability for procurement, compliance, risk, and supplier management.

Denise brings deep expertise in fleet policy, commercial negotiation, operational transformation, and stakeholder engagement. She is dedicated to creating safer, more efficient, and more sustainable fleet operations across the UK.
