I am an accomplished fleet professional with over 20 years of experience. As Head of Fleet for Platform Housing Group, I lead a complex fleet operation with a focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability. My contributions to the sector were recently recognised when I was named Fleet Manager of the Year 2025.

I have demonstrated a deep commitment to professional development and industry progression. I currently serve as a trainer for the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), delivering the Strategic Fleet Vehicle Management course, where I get the opportunity to develop others and share expertise with the next generation of fleet leaders.

I am chairing a new fleet apprenticeship standard in conjunction with the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE), where I am helping to shape a new apprenticeship standard for fleet management. My passion lies in creating strong foundations for future professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

I am applying to join the AFP Board to contribute more strategically to the development of our profession. With over two decades of experience across both sides of the fleet industry, I bring a well-rounded perspective, practical leadership, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing fleet professionals today.

My current work with IfATE and AFP training reflects my passion for education and talent development. I want to use my position on the Board to further champion initiatives that build future-ready fleet professionals, ensuring our industry remains progressive, inclusive, and sustainable.
