With over 20 years of experience, Matt Neale is the Head of Fleet for Platform Housing Group, leading a complex fleet operation with a focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability. His contributions to the sector were recently recognised when he was named Fleet Manager of the Year 2025.

Showing a deep commitment to professional development and industry progression, Matt currently serves as a trainer for the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), delivering the Strategic Fleet Vehicle Management course, where he develops and shares his expertise with the next generation of fleet leaders.

Chairing a new fleet apprenticeship standard in conjunction with the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE), he is helping to shape a new apprenticeship standard for fleet management. Matt’s passion lies in creating strong foundations for future professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
