Suitable for: This course is recommended for anyone who is involved in the consideration and implementation of a salary sacrifice for car offering.
Course Content:
Driven largely by the current BIK incentives supporting Electric Vehicles, salary sacrifice is being looked at and launched by many businesses and organisations across the UK.
• Have you been approached to look into it and are not sure where to start?
• Need to know more about it before proposing it to your employer?
• Perhaps you support a business that is operating a salary sacrifice scheme and want to know more about how it all works?
If the answer to any of the above is YES! you may be interested in a new course we are delighted to offer our members – Understanding Salary Sacrifice, powered by the BVRLA.
This 4-hour online course provides a full overview of salary sacrifice and is split into two complementary modules, with an hour break between the two. The course starts at 10.00 and finishes at 15.00.
The first module, An introduction to Salary Sacrifice, covers what it is (and what it isn’t), how it works, relevance of BIK, PAYE, National Insurance Contributions, OpRA, what influences savings and who it works best for.
The second module, Considerations when implementing a Salary Sacrifice scheme, covers areas such as national minimum wage, risks (and risk protection), insurance, employee education and what could impact salary sacrifice in the future.
Upon completion of the course, delegates will:
• Have the confidence to clearly explain how Salary Sacrifice works to their clients and/or drivers.
• Know the base component factors that influence and impact Salary Sacrifice – and how the dynamics work.
• Understand how to provide a robust scheme and have an appreciation of the potential solutions available
• Develop an understanding of how to maximise engagement on salary sacrifice schemes
The next course is running online on 13th May, and as an AFP Member, we are delighted to be able to offer you this course at a BVRLA member rate of £329 per person.
