My name is Colin Goodchild, Head of Direct Sales (Corporate) at Leasys UK, I am based centrally in the UK between Bedford & Milton Keynes. My career for the last 25 years has been with automotive Fleet, initially with Vauxhall, where I built and led the Sales Support team. I have moved on to lead sales teams in True Fleet and Rental channels. The last 5 years had been spent with automotive finance, working with Free2move Lease and Leasys.

On a personal level I have held a position as a school governor, and I am a keen “Park Runner” aiming to hit 250 5Km runs soon.

I continually encourage and coach those around me to be the best they can be, recently winning a company award for “Consistently mentoring, supporting and developing colleagues”   

I am focused on business improvement and coaching for success, and feel I can use my skills, network of contacts and knowledge of the market to help the Association of Fleet Professions support those within the industry.

It’s time for me to start giving back to the wider industry, and I would value an opportunity to work with the AFP.
