I’ve always had a passion for the automotive world—it all started with a Ladybird book of car badges when I was five. My career began managing a fleet of 350 vehicles at an NHS Trust, which gave me a solid grounding in fleet operations. From there, I made the leap into business development at a small leasing company that eventually became Lex. I spent 18 years there, gaining valuable experience in both the public sector, commercial vehicles, and vehicle funding.

A chance conversation at the Fleet News Awards in 2014 led me to Alphabet, where I took on the role of Head of Public Sector. That’s where my interest in EVs really took off, thanks to their partnership with BMW. After nearly five years, I joined the AA to help expand their services beyond roadside assistance, specifically building the back-office support for charge point operators.

Wanting to dive deeper into the EV space, I joined Vital EV Solutions as a Senior BDM and was promoted to BD Director after 12 months, however, after 18 months, I found myself missing the fleet world, which brought me to my current role as Key Account Director at i247.

With over 30 years in fleet and mobility, I bring hands-on experience across public and private sectors, deep EV expertise, and a track record of driving innovation. My background in leasing, fleet management, and electrification positions me to offer strategic insight, industry credibility, and practical knowledge to support the AFP’s mission and the evolving needs of its members.
