With a career in the fleet industry spanning nearly four decades, I bring a wealth of experience across sales, operations, and leadership roles. Right from my early days at Trimoco Vehicle Leasing—to becoming the first female director within the Hartwell Group —to co-founding Activa Contracts (the English Brand of Arnold Clark Vehicle Management) and growing it into a 7,500-vehicle fleet, to leading regional sales at Ogilvie Fleet, I’ve consistently driven business growth, built high-performing teams, and forged lasting industry, customer and supplier relationships. Throughout my career I have continued to work on the front-line both directly with prospects, customers and supporting my teams to do the same – working with key fleet decision makers, at all levels, to identify pinch points and implement the optimum solutions for their fleet, giving me a deep understanding of customer and prospect expectations and the challenges they face
My strength lies in understanding the evolving needs of fleets—commercial and car alike—and advising on key areas such as risk management, funding strategies, EV transition, and operational efficiencies. I am a collaborative leader, active listener, and passionate advocate for mentoring and talent development.
The fleet sector continues to face rapid change and complex challenges, from economic pressures to sustainability mandates. I believe my history of navigating such changes equips me to add real value to the AFP board. I am particularly committed to promoting diversity within our industry. Having entered the fleet world when it was heavily male-dominated, I would like to help champion greater visibility, confidence, and career progression for both younger and female fleet professionals, while encouraging the next generation to view our sector as an exciting and rewarding career path.
My vision is to support AFP in being a progressive, inclusive, and future-ready voice for our industry. I would be honoured to contribute my insight, energy, and passion to the board.

A personable and results-driven fleet professional with nearly four decades of industry experience, spanning leadership roles in sales, marketing, and operations. Currently Director of Sales at Ogilvie Fleet, joining in 2015 to establish and lead the southern sales function, which has successfully grown from a standing start to securing over 150 new clients, and significantly increased the company’s market presence, particularly in commercial and specialist vehicle sectors alongside solus supply outsourced arrangements.
As a founding member of Activa Contracts (The English Contract Hire Brand of Arnold Clark) and serving as Sales & Marketing Director the business grew from launch to a fleet of 7,500 vehicles, with leadership skills extending across multiple departments, driving innovation in customer experience, CRM development, and fully outsourced fleet solutions.
My career in fleet began at Trimoco Leasing in 1986, firstly in sales support and then working up to front facing sales roles, and Senior Management – eventually becoming the youngest and first female director within the Hartwell Group, who took over Trimoco in 1992.
A strong focus on relationship building with prospects, clients, suppliers, and peers and understanding the pinch points within all areas of fleet operators and operations has resulted in a successful career in business development, client retention and operational integration and has developed some long-standing friendships along the way.
As a Mental Health First Aider, I am an enthusiastic advocate for workplace wellbeing. Outside of work, I am an England Athletics qualified running coach, member of the local running club, marathon runner, and am passionate about wellbeing and fitness. I am also a lifelong supporter of Luton Town FC travelling to games both home and away.
