Board Member

Peter has over 30 years’ experience of management of fleet operations and risk management. He has managed and provided consultancy and risk management programmes for all vehicle and business types ranging from small to Global Corporate businesses.

He has been involved in a variety of key projects, including the introduction of vehicle telematics and camera systems within the insurance industry with a focus on the use of vehicle technology developments to influence behavioural and culture change to management and drivers.

Peter has been a Director of the AFP from the beginning, previously holding a similar role with the Institute of Car Fleet Management since 2012 and where he completed the Diploma training programme in fleet management with Distinction in 2013 and was awarded Fleet Manager (Risk Management) of the year by Fleetworld.

Peter is a trainer for the AFP Fleet Academy’s Foundation, Strategic and Advanced courses and ensures that the training reflects the modern developments within the industry for both Fleet Operators and Service Providers.

With a passion for road safety, Peter is a regular judge and supporter of organisations and charities in this area.
