I had my presentation to the client yesterday. What was meant to be me doing one slide on the history of my company and who we are, turned into me presenting the whole slide pack in what was a 2.5-hour meeting. The meeting was face-to-face in our boardroom with a couple of customers also dialling in. The senior fleet manager for my client called me out at the end of the meeting for how good the presentation was and how it was delivered. That was unexpected, as he wasn’t aware it was my first time delivering in that manner. I also received a recognition award from my line manager following the meeting for how well I did.(…) Now I can look forward to the weekend.
