This course is recommended for anyone who is involved in the coordination or management of an LCV vehicle fleet and wishes to develop their understanding of planning and managing an electric fleet.
It is also a helpful refresher for those returning to a fleet role who wish to bring their knowledge and skills up to date in an ever-changing marketplace.
The course is delivered live online over 3 hours (half-day). It is also available face-to-face on demand to meet your business’needs.

- Understanding the eLCV market
- Impact of electrification on range, payload and towing
- Taking a data-led approach to transition planning
- Stakeholders and their involvement
- Engaging the Driver community to ensure successful deployment
- Charging infrastructure – home, depot, office and EV Highway
- Driver reimbursement
Course attendees will be able to:
- Understand the eLCV marketplace, products available and impact of ZEV mandate
- Recognise the impact of fleet electrification on business operations
- Apply a data-led approach to vehicles transition
- Identify stakeholders and their roles within the transition journey
- Create high-level EV charging infrastructure requirements at all locations
- Start the operational fleet transition journey
- Establish a Driver comms plan to drive engagement
£150 course fee per person for AFP members, £195 for non-members

Cancellation policy:
- Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the course start date will result in a 100% cancellation fee, and no refund will be issued.
- Cancellation less than 8 weeks but more than 4 weeks before the course start date will result in a 50% cancellation fee, and 50% of the course fee will be refunded.

Cancellation policy for 3 or more delegates booked on the same course:
A company can book a maximum of 4 spaces on one course. If more than 2 spaces are booked and cancellation is requested less than 16 weeks before the course start date, then a 50% refund will apply.
(The AFP is a not-for-profit organisation, and this policy ensures the course can still run for the remaining delegates)
